Lane and Omori on Ike Live!

Bassmaster Classic champions Chris Lane and Takahiro Omori join Mike Iaconelli on his live web show, Ike Live!, Monday, Feb. 9, at 8 p.m. ET.

PITTSGROVE, N.J. — Bassmaster Classic champions Chris Lane and Takahiro Omori join Mike Iaconelli on his live web show, Ike Live!, Monday, Feb. 9, at 8 p.m. ET.

All three men have won the Classic — Lane in 2012, Omori in 2004 and Iaconelli in 2003 — and all three will be competing in the 2015 GEICO Bassmaster Classic presented by GoPro on South Carolina’s Lake Hartwell, Feb. 20-22.

The trio will begin the live, interactive show at 8 p.m. ET, and at 9:30 p.m. ET, the format changes to a free-form question and answer session from fan phone calls and tweets.

Lane grew up fishing family tournaments against his dad, grandfather and brothers, Bobby and Arnie — now pro anglers, too — before hitting the pro circuit in 2000.

For five years after high school, Omori lived in a tent on Lake Kawaguchi near Mount Fuji, Japan, and worked odd jobs to save $2,000 to come to the United States for the Texas B.A.S.S. Invitational. His 15-year career plan called for him to compete at the highest level by 2001. He made that goal, entering the Classic that year and winning it in 2004.

Iaconelli stormed onto the fishing scene, earning close to $1 million in his first five years of professional fishing. He is the angler to have won the B.A.S.S. Nation Championship, a Bassmaster Classic and a Bassmaster Angler of the Year title.
