Colorado’s Wildlife Council has an interesting way to highlight that it protects and manages state waters and wildlife with the money it collects from hunting and fishing licenses: It suggests you hug an angler.
In an ad campaign, the Wildlife Council shows outdoorsy people making a point to hug an angler or a hunter. (See video below.)
Seems like a pretty effective and unique way to remind the public that money from hunting and fishing licenses benefits all Coloradans.
Who would have thought that you may get a free hug just from going fishing?
