Harts Lake in Washington gets cleaned up

The Washington Fire Creek Bassmasters cleaned up boat ramps, boat launches and the shores of Harts Lake in Pierce County.

For their habitat improvement project of the year, members of the Fire Creek Bassmasters of the Washington B.A.S.S. Federation Nation cleaned up boat ramps, boat launches and the shores of Harts Lake in Pierce County. The club also cut down and cleared trees that prevented vehicle traffic from entering the launch area.

The downed trees were placed and anchored around the shoreline to provide additional habitiat. The trees doubled the amount of wood structure in the lake’s shoreline areas.

The Fire Creek Bassmasters dedicated 14 man-hours to this project and collected nine bags of trash.
