Get it on film for Mercury

Meet Mr. Bingles; laugh with Randy Howell in his “fast mask”; get on board with Paula as she videotapes dolphins following her boat.

And that’s only the tip of the video iceberg at MercFilms.com. The Mercury Films Festival, which kicked off June 3 and will continue through Sept. 30, is likely to produce hours upon hours of online video viewing, all courtesy of Mercury Marine.

That’s entertainment, but it’s also multiple contests that get everyone involved.

One contest is for makers of original videos. The person who submits the winning video will have his or her choice of a grand prize: a Mercury outboard or a fishing trip for two with one of the honorary Mercury Films Festival judges – TV celebrities Mark Zona, Jose Wejebe and Bill Dance.

Another way to win is by voting online for the best video. With each vote – one vote per day per video is allowed – the voter will be entered in a sweepstakes for a prize of a fishing trip for two to Alaska’s Kenai Peninsula.
