Four to be inducted into Hall of Fame at Classic

You can be there in person to see four legends of the sport inducted into the Bass Fishing Hall of Fame, Feb. 19, at 6 p.m. at the Hyatt in Greenville.

GREENVILLE, S.C. — You can be there in person to see four legends of the sport inducted into the Bass Fishing Hall of Fame, Feb. 19, at 6 p.m. at the Hyatt in Greenville.

The night before competition begins at the 2015 GEICO Bassmaster Classic presented by GoPro, the organization will add Bassmaster pro Harold Allen, Bassmaster pro Stacey King, industry entrepreneur Bill Huntley and veteran Bassmaster senior writer Don Wirth to the Hall of Fame roster.

Prior to the formal induction ceremony is a reception and silent auction, which features bucket-list fishing trips, premium rods and reels, hunting gear and special fishing-celebrity memorabilia. Beginning at 7 p.m., guests will enjoy a full-course dinner, guest speakers and then a speech by each inductee.

The Hall of Fame is a nonprofit organization dedicated to all anglers, manufacturers, tackle dealers, media and related companies that further the sport of bass fishing.
