We held our second event on China Lake, ME on 06/28/14. We had 54 boats come from 3 different states and Canada. China is an awesome fishery, #23 on Bassmaster.com's Top 100 Lakes 2014.
Weather was excellent, bright skies, 80+ degrees, low wind. Water temps were still a little cool, and had some reports of fish still on beds in some areas. Of the 54 teams, 326 Large and Small Mouth were brought to the scales with a total event weight of 793lbs. Average big fish weighed was 4.53lb. The team of Ronnie Smith & Bob Caron brought a 7.4lb BEAST to the scales.
Winning the event was the team of Cresta & Laflamme with 23.75lbs.
