The West Super Regional on Arkansas’ Lake Dardanelle will be taking place on June  2-3.  The North Super Regional on New York’s Lake Oneida will be taking place June 27-28.  The National Championship in Little Rock, Ark., will be July 7-9 and the Bassmaster Classic shootout will be on the 11thof July at an undisclosed location.

College B.A.S.S. Schools will be required to compete in at least one Super Regional this year as well as finish in the top 50 percent of the field in each Super Regional in order to send one boat to the National Championship.  (Each School can fish as many Super Regionals as they choose.)

Entry fees for Super Regionals will be a onetime $50.00 School fee and $20.00 per boat.  All entry fees will go back into the payout for each tournament.  All funds awarded will be paid back to the select clubs, not the individuals who placed in their respective position.

In order to register, Schools must fill out the registration form listed on the site and send Hank Weldon an email stating which tournament(s) you are fishing and how many boats you will be sending.  Hank Weldon’s email is hank.weldon@gmail.com.

Funds will be collected at each tournament’s briefing, which will be held the day before each Super Regional starts.  Attendance to the briefing is required.

College B.A.S.S. has extended its television coverage with ESPNU.  ESPNU now reaches over 72 million households.  Each Super Regional and the National Championship will be televised.  Airdates will be announced later.

College B.A.S.S. will also be streaming each of its events on its new home, Bassmaster.com. Bassmaster.com is the most visited fishing website in the world, which will give all College B.A.S.S. anglers more exposure than they have ever had.

Stay tuned for more information detailing each tournament specifically.  Any questions or concerns should be expressed to Hank Weldon.
