Megabass X-DAD crankbait

The X-DAD has a set of realistic-looking “feelers” that can intrigue even the pickiest bass.

What is it?

Megabass X-DAD crankbait.

What does it do?

It’s a crawfish crankbait, so it scoots along the bottom much as a crawfish would. It’ll dive down to 10 feet. It also suspends, which is key to its action.

Why do I need it?

For when bass are eating crawfish (which is a lot of the time) and ignoring everything else.

How do I use it?

Like your average mid-depth crankbait; with a slow reel and a medium-action rod and 10- or 12-pound test line. You’re also going to want to throw this thing around areas that you know crawfish live, like around rick and wood. The coolest thing about the X-DAD is that it rises very slowly when paused. IN other words, it’s not very buoyant so it almost hovers off of the bottom when the retrieve is stopped. Subtle twitches make it look even more like a concerned crustacean. What sets it apart?

The X-DAD has a set of realistic-looking “feelers” that are tucked away much like a real crawdad’s are when he’s fleeing. The finish and shape of this bait are very convincing as well as the action. There are 11 colors available.

How much?

The MSRP is $26.00.
