Hot Product Press: O.S.P. Blitz Max

What is it?

O.S.P.’s newest shallow-water crashing crankbait, the Blitz Max.

What does it do?

O.S.P. designed the Blitz Max as a big-bodied crankbait that excels at attracting big bass from treacherous cover. The action, size, snaglessness and ability to get into heavy cover are all traits that O.S.P. reports attracts bigger bites. Plus, you’d be hard pressed to find a more durable hardbait on the market.

How do I use it?

Like a squarebill crankbait; in and around stumps, rocks, wood and other shallow cover.

What sets it apart?

This thing is the all-terrain Humvee of crankbaits. O.S.P. has developed a Honeycomb HP body construction that improves buoyancy because of its inherent light weight and ruggedness. The HP Slash Bill is reported to be three times stronger than a regular ABS plastic bill and the semi-coffin shape gives it a nice kick-out action when it hits something. Finally, the body is a semi-flat shape that’s reported to be effective in flashing harder and attracting bass from a greater distance.
