Missile Baits Warlock Head and Fuse 4.4

The worm is tailor-made for this shaky head, but would also be at home on a drop shot rig.

What is it?

Missile Baits’ latest tackle, the Fuse 4.4 worm and Warlock Head.

What does it do?

The worm is tailor-made for this shaky head, but would also be at home on a drop shot rig. The Warlock Head is a shaky head that Missile Baits proprietor and Elite Series pro John Crews tweaked to his exacting specifications. The hook is a 3/0 Gamakatsu with a wide bite so you stick every fish that bites and the short bait holder spring is snug in a recess in the head for seamless design and greater weedlessness. It’s available in 1/8, 3/16 and 1/4 ounce sizes and either black or green.

How do I use it?

Ideally rigs like these are best in finessy, tough fishing situations, especially when paired together. Shaky heads are good on lakes where bass forage on crawfish, but the Fuse 4.4 is a standout on a drop shot as well.

What sets it apart?

The recessed head and Gamakatsu hook are two things rarely found on shaky jigheads and never together until now. Plus, the black or green painted head is chip-resistant. The Fuse 4.4 has a thicker back half for easy rigging on shaky jigheads, like the Warlock Head.

How much?

$4.39 (Fuse 4.4), $5.39 (Warlock head)
