Elite Series pro Darold Gleason found an area in practice where he thought he could catch bass. The fish he had found had been suspended over 60 feet of water chasing bait hovering in 20 feet.
The lake however has risen dramatically and when Gleason arrived the fish he had found had disappeared.
Now, he is fishing a point he wasn’t originally planning on fishing, using is forward-facing sonar to locate individual fish. While he had found a couple, they aren’t cooperating.
Gleason said he will be on the trolling motor a lot this afternoon trying to find a group of fish that will bite.
