Only ten days ago there was ice and snow on the lake. For a cooling lake, this is highly unusual but we had a wicked winter. It was 31 degrees as the anglers launched their boats at the ramp and prepared for the first event of the season. Water temps were about 45 degrees and bite was a difficult one based on the practice days the anglers had.
At the end of the day six teams managed to boat keeper fish. The team of Adam and Steve Ohms were able to find the big bass for the event at 4.71 lbs. This fish also put them in the first place spot.
1st Place – Adam Ohms and Steve Ohms
2nd Place – Brent Swartz and Brian Tutko
3rd Place – Bob Blumenstein and Erik Powley
4th Place – Herb Rush and Steve Parker
5th Place – Lonnie Winn and John Osmer
Big Bass – Adam Ohms and Steve Ohms – 4.71lbs.
