Lee and Powell made a move right before I reached them. They pulled up on a ledge, fished around for a few minutes and when Powell set the hook on one, Lee dumped a marker buoy out. So far they've only caught small keepers but they haven't strayed more than 20 feet from their buoy and they've caught six. Lee says you have to go through a bunch of little ones to catch a big one. He lost one in the 3- to 4-pound range right off the bat that struck right at the boat. That's the only quality bite they've seen this morning.
