Martens lands a 3 1/2 pounder

"Finally!," said Aaron Martens as he swung a 3 1/2-pounder in the boat for his first keeper of the day. This a pretty neat situation here at the creek mouth, where Skylar Hamilton has invited Martens to share the water. They are swapping fishing ideas non-stop.

Neither of these guys has been on Nickajack prior to today. From looking at local tournament results, they both think 15 pounds should put you in the top 10 in this second-chance event. Hamilton already has well over that. His goal now is 30 pounds. He could upgrade significantly with another decent-size bass, which would allow him to cull a 12-inch spotted bass.
