Much to his relief, Skylar Hamilton has now rid himself of the 12-inch spotted bass that has plagued him since 8 o'clock this morning. And he did it in a style fitting of his day.
At 12:25, Hamilton caught a – he says 4-pounder; I say 5-pounder – that allowed him to cull the little spot.
He didn't need it, not with 20-plus pounds in the livewell, but it made for a significant cull. Hamilton has probably got 25 pounds now, anchored by a giant.
