Grimsley and I have almost reached Nickajack Dam. En route, we've passed several anglers, most looking lost and catching short fish. Paul Elias is blanking, Keith Combs has five babies, Jamey Caldwell has four fish, three of weight he says are decent. That was the best news we've heard yet.
We just pulled up onto a local honey hole, which Grimsley thought would be covered, but it's not. Kiriyama is here with a 13-pound limit and Grant Goldbeck just pulled up in his Allison. Kiriyama just landed a 2 1/4-pounder, which will call for him. He is super excited about that fish. He's on some of the only deep structure on the lake, which is his strong suit.
