Alton Jones has fished everywhere from 30 feet deep drifting a ledge at 2 miles-per-hour all the way to 5 feet deep with his Power-Poles down. He even fished a culvert at one point. The fish are all over the place right now and that's evident judging by the various patterns that have resulted in Top 12 finishes this week.
We've seen the usual baits in action. The dropshots and the tubes. But we've also seen anglers catching fish frogging, flipping, fishing tiny hair jigs, throwing swimbaits along dams and fishing crankbaits, jerkbaits and spinnerbaits. Really a free-for-all out here right now.
The trick is, as always, finding the big ones.
