With check-in time looming, it appears it's all about that gas in determining the final standings of the Top 12. As Justin Lucas came all-too-close to discovering yesterday, running out of fuel is a distinct possibility in the vastness of the Delta.
Lack of fuel or the addition of a mechanical problem could still shuffle the standings. Both Aaron Martens and Lucas are reliably accurate in their BASSTrakk reports, so we're going to assume Lucas has an edge going into the official weigh-in.
But a lot could happen in this final hour that has nothing to do with catching fish and everything to do with avoiding late check-in penalties.
