Reese has moved to another section of this large bay, and he has picked up the pace, hurling a spinnerbait ahead of him. He's fishing man made cover, the remnants of an old farmhouse from the time decades ago when this was farmland kept dry by levees.
It's flooded now, and it appears no big bass are homesteading the place. At least Reese hasn't come across any.
The area is getting crowded. Dean Rojas is just down the bank and Bradley Roy is approaching from the other direction. Reese leapfrogged Roy and resumed fishing the remainder of an old levee. He apparently doesn't mind fishing used water.
We expected fishing to heat up by now but the wind has kicked up instead, making sight fishing a challenge. Reese is in the midst of a dry spell.
