I wondered how long it would take him to end up back on that stretch where he caught a series of good fish. Turns out: about a couple of hours. After slowly cycling through his areas, Pirch is back near the take-off area slowly working along the drop with his finesse baits. Omori has also had success along here and several other anglers have fished it periodically. Right now, I can see a few other boats in the distance but none right in front of us.
According to our graph, the water temperature has warmed up a few degrees from this morning and is now sitting at 70 degrees. It's only going to get warmer as the weekend goes on too with highs in the 90stomorrow as well. We are in the desert after all and yesterday was an anomaly.
Not much action in Pirch's boat this hour.
