I'm sure others will note this, and maybe it needs to be said often, but 2015 is quickly becoming the year of the delay.
It started at the Classic and was caused by ice and cold. Then fog at the Sabine. Now at Guntersville, it's thunderstorms. Not many other things left for us to experience this season.
This isn't the first time we've had weather issues at Guntersville. My brain gets older by the day and my memory fades faster than that, but strong thunderstorms rolled through one morning, much like this, and the wind that came from it forced a cancelled day.
And, if memory serves, Iaconelli won that tournament. It was 2006 and like last season at the Delaware, Ike jumped off the stage and took his trophy into the weigh-in crowd. Or maybe he carried his fish. That weigh-in was held on a football field of the local high school.
