Steve Bowman has a deep, dark secret. Now that it's Day 4, I think I can finally reveal it. The fine folks at Bait, Tackle and Grill at Goose Pond Landing make a mean cheeseburger. How do I know this? Steve Bowman had them delivered to our boat. I think I've discovered why Steve has been covering whoever was closest to the ramp this entire tournament.
I've been doing this a little while, and I must say this is the first time I get to watch someone fish while having a freshly cooked bacon cheeseburger. Extremely gracious thanks to our delivery drivers, who were offered cheeseburgers of their own and turned them down. Thanks Austin Kirkpatrick and John Greenwood for the excellent service and prompt delivery.
And while revealing this may put me in jeopardy of sharing a boat with him again, I must thank Mr. Bowman for buying me a very fine lunch.
