We've followed David Walker up to the mid-lake area of Guntersville. My boss Bruce Akin reminded me this morning that this part of the lake is in Scottsboro, his home town. I always enjoy it when people show pride in where they're from. It is certainly beautiful here. Early spring green. Blue skies. Slight breeze and 49 degrees. The lake will fish differently today than it did with the cloud cover and rain of yesterday. David has his first keeper of the day. A four-pounder. He starts the day in second place.
