I don’t normally get the opportunity to photograph the weigh-in, but with James Overstreet working on his On The Water gallery, I was asked to fill in. I sat down along side Seigo Saito and the other photographers, ready to document the proceedings. As the weigh-in began and we got about 4 anglers in, TJ DeVoe, Social Media Manager of Pro Fishing Media wondered aloud how many anglers would describe the day as a “grind”. I didn’t place a bet, but if I had, I would have said at least 30. Turns out I was low. According to TJ, 14 anglers, including Bill Lowen, described the day as a grind.
Although I hadn’t planned on it, I guarantee you I will be counting tomorrow.
