Bill Lowen update

After a less than exciting morning following Chad Pipkens, we crossed the bay to find Bill Lowen. Much like yesterday, I'm late to the party. bill caught his fish early, threeof them in a flurry and all of them at least 3 pounds. He says he still has a 2.5 pounder he expects to cull "when that tide gets right". He is doing what you expect Bill Lowen to do, scrubbing the bank clean. Fishing fast and covering a lot of ground. He said this area was shared by four other anglers, but they didn't make the cut. That left this whole giant area to him alone today.

Getting in here was a little treacherous. A shallow area here is barely marked, and without my boat driver Chris Huffman knowing when to cut the boat to the right, I'd be writing this while looking at a beached boat. Fortunately, we are still afloat.

Bill just found a 2.5 that doesn't help him. Some guys we saw earlier would kill for that today. Bill says anything that swims is here. Catfish, stripers, and a few big bass. He's hoping it has one more day of productivity in it.
