Weather a key factor, as usual

As usual, weather figures to be a key factor today. It rained prior to takeoff this morning, and there's a low ceiling. It's drizzling lightly at the moment as we watch Dean Rojas working over a ditch next to a dock.

Rojas told me yesterday afternoon that's he'd be expanding his lure arsenal today after struggling to catch a small limit yesterday. So far, he's following that plan. He exclusively threw a shaky head and a jig yesterday and concentrated mostly on docks. His first few casts this morning were farther off the dock, targeting a little deeper water. I've seen him use three different rods already this morning. The absence of sun today may keep his fish from holding tight to the docks like they did when Rojas busted his 21-2 bag on the first day. No fish yet, but it's early.
