How tough was it?

The previous Elite event on Table Rock was almost certainly the toughest in Elite history. It was in mid-September (when weights are traditionally low) and Todd Faircloth won with just 50-9 — the fourth lowest winning weight ever. One hundred and one anglers caught just 12 limits on Day 1 and 16 on Day 2. Only the Sabine River (2012) came close to that level of futility (and Faircloth won that one, too — he's at his best when the fishing's tough). Table Rock in 2006 posted the worst Bassing Average in Elite history at 2.4091. Only Faircloth and Edwin Evers limited all four days.
