Randy Howell marked this waypoint on the east side of Lake George during Monday's rainy practice day "when they were biting like crazy in here," he said.
I guess this is no secret, since Howell just shared it with Rick Morris as he trolled by, but Randy is throwing a weightless Yamamoto Senko on braided line. He has caught five without lifting his Power-Poles. He just confirmed that the one good one weighed 4 1/2 pounds. He's culled up another time or two, but by ounces, not pounds. It's got to feel good to have a limit after a long morning, even if it only weighs about 10 pounds.
