Howell back in practice hole

Randy Howell marked this waypoint on the east side of Lake George during Monday's rainy practice day "when they were biting like crazy in here," he said.

I guess this is no secret, since Howell just shared it with Rick Morris as he trolled by, but Randy is throwing a weightless Yamamoto Senko on braided line. He has caught five without lifting his Power-Poles. He just confirmed that the one good one weighed 4 1/2 pounds. He's culled up another time or two, but by ounces, not pounds. It's got to feel good to have a limit after a long morning, even if it only weighs about 10  pounds.
