Rook makes a run at top 5

We're following Scott Rook in a long creek channel. He just put keeper number five in his livewell, giving him 9 plus pounds, which may put him into the top 5. Scott is running and gunning, making short moves, using his big motor as much as his trolling motor. Rook is a noted river angler who grew up fishing the Arkansas River using a similar style. Perhaps a similarity in the river current of the Arkansas and the tidal current of the Delaware is the fish tend to be more active when the water is moving. When Rook tries a spot and doesn't get a bite, he's moving on. That style seem to be working well for him here.
