McClelland working on a limit

Mike McClelland was tied for 16th after Day 1 with 17-12, and he has a trio of 3-pounders so far this morning. He's fishing the western shore of Cayuga where basketball-size boulders are interspersed with patches of milfoil. "He's fishing a good spot and he's fishing it the right way," said our driver/tour guide, Ken Golub. McClelland fished here Thursday as well.

McClelland doesn't have a BASSTrakk unit on board, so here's not counted in the realtime standings. If he were, he would rank in the top 15, perhaps. He's fishing the sweet spot of this area now, so we'll stay with him in hopes of watching him catch another good bass. He only has three, so any good bite would move him up in the standings.
