Local favorite David Kilgore reported losing three fish yesterday that would've helped him tremendously. A 4-pounder was his fault, but a 5 and "one bigger than the 8-01" he weighed in were just bad luck. He plans to keep doing the same things that provoked bites yesterday. "I will make no adjustments at all," he said. "I put new hooks on and I'm ready to go."
Rick Morris only weighed four fish yesterday, but he'll double down on his area today and try to grind out five like the 6-pounder he weighed. "I'll be fishing one spot all day in a crowd, both pros and locals," he said. He's not sure that it has 35-pound potential but said that 30 is possible.
