Aaron Martens just landed his second fish of the day, a 3-pounder. His boat is about 200 yards from the east bank in Little Bay de Noc, and it's in only 6 feet of water. Our boat is 20 yards further out, and we're sitting in 30 feet of water. Martens is drop-shotting along the shallow shelf, before the steep drop.
And he's starting to warm up. He just caught his third keeper – a 3 1/2 pounder, like his first fish this morning. That gives him a total of about 10 pounds.
