Yesterday I wrote that the Elite Series Sabine River Challenge presented by STARK Cultural Ventures (try saying that three times fast!) was one of the toughest in Elite history, but not quite the toughest.
Well, that was before the fishing got worse!
Yes, it's true, the fishing actually got a little worse on Day 2, but only slightly so. Whereas the bassing average for Day 1 was a dismal 2.38 (100 anglers brought 238 bass to the scales), it dipped to 2.37 on Day 2 — the toughest Day 2 in Elite history, eclipsing 2006 at Table Rock Lake where the bassing average was 2.51.
