Lone wolf Davis

It's obvious that Davis isn't fishing a community hole. He's in the middle of Lake Erie, and as far as you can see in any direction there are no other tournament fishermen in sight.

It's a desert of water.

David found his big smallies on his own in one day of practice. That speaks highly of his ability to use this electronics, his brain and his tackle to find out where the bass are and what they're doing.

Despite the slow bite and the Elite Series tournament pressure-cooker, Davis is Steady Eddy. His experience and easy-going good nature allow him to operate as though this is just another day of fishing.
