Gary Klein just caught his first keeper of the day, flipping in wood. It's a 2-pounder, approximately. That's not going to win him the tournament, but at least he has something in the livewell.
He was flipping a soft plastic bait when he caught the fish, but had been fishing a spinnerbait. When he went back to the soft plastic he got the fish. Klein is moving very methodically from one tree to the next.
We are starting to have sun and wind is increasing. This is the coolest day we've had by far, with a high predicted in the low 70s. There's a good ripple on the water now.
