Brent Chapman is methodically working his way down the shady side of this Coosa River bank, mostly with a jig, but making a few casts with a spinnerbait too.
He just put another quality fish in the boat on the jig. He said 3 pounds. It was every bit of that.
There is not a cloud in the sky today. It's a great day to be out on the Coosa River.
David Walker, by the way, is now out of sight upstream.
And as I wrote that, Chapman just landed another keeper on a spinnerbait. He's got three in the box now.
And now we can see David Walker coming back downstream.
Obviously, things are changing fast here in Wetumpka.
