Steve Kennedy thought he could catch at least 10 or 12 pounds in McDade Lake this morning. And getting bites here hasn’t been a problem. He just hasn’t landed anything of significance. Kennedy has caught six bass, but has only “5 or 6 pounds,” he said.
“They really bit good this morning,” Kennedy said. “I’m afraid if it turns bluebird, it might be over. That’s usually the way it works.”
The sky appears to be about to do just that — turn bluebird. The remaining clouds are high and patches of blue are showing. We’re finally starting to feel some warming rays of sun.
