Michael Iaconelli did not have the best day way. His 10 pounds, 7 ounces left him in 31st place and more than 7 pounds behind the lead. You’ll be able to read about it shortly in his Going Ike column.
He led with this: “I’m not especially happy with how things went today but I will say that it’s a fishing tournament and this is the way things go sometimes. But here’s the thing, I really don’t have a reason, or even an excuse, for not catching bigger fish. It just didn’t happen.”
If BASSTrakk is right, then his small-fish woes have ended. He already has a 5-pounder in the boat.
