We are camped out on the Cooper River watching Skeet Reese. Paul Mueller and Paul Elias are also nearby. So far, we’ve seen one fish, a small keeper for Elias. The only constant is the wind. We are sitting in three feet of water in a former rice patty from the 1800s. Nearby is Mulberry Plantation. My boat driver Mikey says all of this was dyked off and used to grow rice. Skeet hoping that it grows bass.
