Walker has a ‘small’ limit

David Walker made a 7-mile run downriver after a lengthy dead period and filled his limit with a 2-pounder. That’s gives him 15-4 for the day, according to photographer Andy Crawford.
It’s a confidence booster to have a limit in the livewell. But, as Walker noted earlier this week, as much as 20 pounds, usually a championship sack anywhere else, won’t get it done on the St. Lawrence River. Walker has a 5-pounder, which is a solid foundation to build on. The other four are small fry: 2-0, 2-0, 3-0 and 3-2.
Hard to believe, but 3-pound smallmouth bass are small fry this week.
