Kelly Jordon is a patient man. He’s worked the same area over the past 4 days. He only had one fish here on Day 1, yet he came back to catch 24 pounds on Day 2. Yesterday, he missed two big bites, and got two others. A less patient man may decide that this pocket was depleted, but not Kelly. He’s sure there are at least those two big bites lurking. He says he just needs it to get right. He has about two hours to make that happen. It was about this time yesterday he captured a five pounder that put him in the conversation. A couple of those, and this will be over before Dave Mercer can warm up his voice for the weigh-in.
