Clinton Lake producing this week

Clinton Lake has produced some big bass this week and the college event showcased that fact with over 57 pounds winning the three-day event and today's high school event shouldn't be any different.

We've already heard reports of plenty of 3- to 4-pounders while a few over 5 have popped up. We found the Benton High School team of Trevor McKinney and Dailus Richardson and they had two in the boat at the moment. One was around 3 or so and the other was a 6-pounder. They hooked up with a 2 to 2 1/2-pounder while we were there and that gave them three fish.

Meanwhile, teams in the area also had some solid fish to show off.

This should be a fun weigh-in for the 60+ teams competing in the Costa Bassmaster High School Midwestern Regional.
