Pro Matthew Mattingly and co-angler Todd Young working hard while taking in some views on the historical James River.
It’s a challenge here on the James River with near 100-degree temperatures, but it seems like the bass are biting. I admire the scenery on this river.
The extreme temperatures have made for some shorter practice days. Unfortunately my day ended early yesterday when I got a treble hook buried deep in my left index finger. It was too deep to snatch with the line trick or to push through. I ended up at the ER. They had to make an incision to get the hook pushed through and cut off.
