Up tick could happen soon

One of the things to keep in mind for today’s round: These guys had one 8-hour practice, followed by two 3-hour sessions.

They typically get two days of full practice and one half day. With that in mind they are approaching the number of hours of a typical practice. We watched yesterday as they started dialing in a little better. Rojas’ last-minute charge is a good example of that. And VanDam’s practice time with a comfortable lead on Drew Benton is another.

While the weights have basically been low up to this point, we expect to see more fish and more weight during this round of competition. Helping that will be six hours on the water today, instead of three.

That up tick hasn’t started yet. But it’s a good bet it’ll happen.
