As hoped the temperature is rising and the activity might be as well.
We stuck with Darrell Lyons for a few minutes and he caught three more. All of them short.
He said “the law of averages is on my side. Eventually I’ll catch a keeper.”
He was right. After catching four shorts, a couple which were 14 3/4 inches. He boated his first keeper of the day. But not before catching all three species of bass on this lake.
He waded through chunky spotted bass and smallmouth before catching a 15-inch largemouth.
We can only hope the action is picking up. We are certainly seen more boats running around.
