“He jumped a 3-pounder at the boat,” said Andy.
Call it a swing and a miss that he could’ve used on a crucial day like this one. But the good news is what Randy told me this morning at the boat ramp.
“I left them biting yesterday, there are a lot of fish and bait moving around,” he said. “It’s looking good and so is the weather.”
His observation was that the days are getting warmer (before the next cold front tomorrow), but the nights are getting cooler, which is what he wants.
After Day 1 he was second with 18 pounds, 8 ounces, a good place to be.
