Swindle fills out his limit

Gerald Swindle just boated a 2-pounder that gives him four bass and 8 pounds, 8 ounces, according to BASSTrakk. All four have come from the same small pocket off the main channel of tributary to the Mississippi River. It appears Swindle is alternating among two or three lures, but he's not employing his trademark "junk fishing" tactic of casting anything at everything. He is melodically milking this hole for all it's worth.

It's a good strategy. We just saw him land his fifth keeper. He'll be trying to cull from here on out. The day is very young, but Swindle has jumped into second already, and a strong finish like that would make him almost impossible to beat in the AOY race.
