Strader and the multi-species challenge

It’s not just Wesley Strader, but most of the anglers are dealing with several species of gar, redfish, mudfish, flounder and more.

But Strader has been working a topwater presentation that’s been attracting attention from all of the above—and even largemouth bass.

He’s been fishing an area that produced several good limits for several anglers. He just said it’s time to look for new areas with unmolested fish.

All the activity can cause an angler to stumble and wait out potential bites because topwater strikes are plentiful.

“When you can’t tell what they are, you want them to be bass—so some guys will wait and keep fishing,” he said

He said it’s about time for Plan B.
