Slow start for Shryock

Hunter Shryock is sitting in 3rd place, 4-11 off the pace from Ott DeFoe. He's leading the tournament between the fiberglass boats since DeFoe and Benton are using aluminum rigs this week.

Shryock busted 15-11 to jumped into the bronze position. He has found a gully or ditch on Douglas Lake that is ultra shallow, but has a good concentration of fish.

I witnessed a big time flurry from him that pushed him from 2 fish to a limit and culling in a short time. You can see that action here: https://www.bassmaster.com/slideshow/hunter-shryocks-day-2-douglas

He is hoping to duplicate that once again today. He hasn't boated a fish today so far in the first hour and a half of the day, but he did spend roughly 20-25 minutes running to this area from takeoff. He expects the sun to turn on the bite because of how shallow the fish are and the cold evenings we've had in East Tennessee.

His co-angler Bobby Drinnon was the Day 1 leader, but zeroed yesterday and dropped to 7th, 2-9 behind. Drinnon has landed two fish, one of which is a stud for the co-angler side. He is certainly in contention to win right now.
