Rough waters for Faircloth

Todd Faircloth has made a lengthy run down the lake to the mouth of Honey Creek. I hope it's worth it because it was a bone-jarring boat ride.

The wind, as predicted, has intensified, and after spending the morning in somewhat protected parts of the lake, that boat run was eye opening -- whitecaps with three-foot swells.

Keep in mind that the choppy conditions will slow many anglers' return to the ramp this afternoon, which could mean less time to fish.
